****** Inkscape .47 ******

I got a copy this morning and I've been using it today, so far so good no problems, please read what is written here they are hoping this is the final release, I couldn't wait

so if they do make changes I'll just download it again.

Doreen if you click on 'here' in the paragraph under the Inkscape 0.47pre4 is out then you will get to a page with the Inkscape 0.47pre4 download files.

Oh no not another lot??? I was using .45 and I found that fine then I had to upgrade to .46 ... And now .47.. I just get used to one then the next lots released

I downloaded the one that was 3 down from that - I thought that as it had been downloaded 26,000+ times it must be the right one! I think this is a non-ziped version - it installed OK. (mine is a 32-bit machine).

Tina .47 looks and acts the same as .46 but with a few extra tools, which you can ignore if you wish.

The ones shown in the pictures people have posted here are not the ones, the link I've posted is to a different place and a full blown version that installs like any other program not running from the desktop, like the others.

No I've dumped all the others, but I've kept .46 for now as I want to copy over my templates.

The one I downloaded was a full install rather than just running from the desktop - I think it depends on which one you download from the list. But your link is more convenient to use
