My big brave attempt at a 40 x 40 canvas. The photo flattens it somewhat, the photo is sepia and the canvas has been prepared with gesso and a selection of greens and gold acrylic. What you can't see is the ivy growing behind my daughter. That's why I used the ivy trails.

Not perfect, but I'm on a journey now to create 3 dimensional art for my walls, using every skill I have. Robo through paints, punches and pretty bits.

Santa Doggie topper on Kitty Franken folded card

Thanks to Lucille once again who pointed us toward the Kitty Franken site for the marvelous card fold I've used for this card. I made the little doggie topper the other day and this card is perfect for him - Thanks again Lucille

Triangle Folded Top Card/Get Well Dad

I loved Rosemary's Template and had to make a card for my Dad as he had hip replacement surgery yesterday. So I thought I would combine the two. I love the way its turned out. Its in my Gallery.

    Dancing Skeleton

My project this afternoon has been a print and cut articulated skeleton for Halloween, which is currently hanging from our door knocker and merrily dancing. We get the local children coming round for trick or treat and I thought this would be fun for them. He's cut from a template I found on the web, but I've also found a copyright free image that I can adapt and hopefully share for next year.

He's not yet in my gallery yet because I'm waiting impatiently for my husband to let me have a photo as my camera batteries need recharging, but here's a screen grab of my template. He's about 8-10" high and all his joints are connected with brads so he can move freely; there are two heads because I wanted that to be articulated too and it wasn't on the original design. I finished him off with a set of wobbly eyes and he dangles from a spiral of fine craft wire.
