If you would like to add an SVG version to files uploaded already in the general upload area, feel free to use the Edit button and add them, that would be nice .

However if the file has been moved to the permanent section I'm afraid it isn't possible to upload to these threads, so please do not upload the SVGs in the general upload area on their own or they will be deleted.
