    I'll start off

This is another in my personal series of "different PBBs" - not done with it yet, despite starting it back in maybe February, and taking it with me to at least 2 different crops. I have all the pages covered, as you can see, and I have the cover and one inner spread done (since these photos were taken) plus all the photos picked and printed. with luck maybe I can update before the end of the event with a completed book....

    but don't hold your breath.

One of the first mini books I made was this I was amazed that you could actually make a pretty little album out of 3 envelopes and this is probably the project that got me hooked on mini books

Great examples - I would def. like to know more about the 3-envelope book and how it is constructed. We don't have any envelope books in the event (or PBBs for that matter ) so clue me in! As a matter of fact of all the various minibooks I've made I've never made an envelope book. It's on my list and your example has pushed it closer to the top of the list now

And instructions on the other envelope book would be good if that's possible? I'm very curious!

    Envelope Book.

You will need 3 A5 envelopes (the ones approx 6" by 9") they need to have their flap along the short edge.
Place the envelopes on the desk with the flap side uppermost to your right.
Fold the envelopes in half so that they now measure 6" by 4.5". The flaps will be on the inside of each of your folded envelopes.
This gives you 6 pages to create your book with.
In my book I have used the flap on the 1st and 3rd envelope to create a closure for a little hidden pocket. The 2nd envelope, I tucked the flap in to create an open pocket for slotting tags into.
I would suggest you decorate with PP and CS at this point but don't add the photos or embellies.
Now to punch your holes - Do not 'nest' the envelopes just pile the folded envelopes one on top of the other so that the folded edges are to your left.
When I made mine I didn't have a BIA so it was held together with book rings - 3 or 5 rings will work fine (I went for 5 so that there was plenty of room to attach lots of ribbon )
You now have your basic book that you can add your photos to and embellish to your hearts content
    Hope that all makes sense...
