    circular squash book - pre-crop

Maryanne's circular squash book HERE was so inspiring i had to have a go, (hope its ok to start a thread)

here's mine. i used rusty pickle chocolate covered cherries range ( used cherry cordial, maracschino cherry and cherry on top) and have totally covered most of the front of the book, my sister is getting married in cyprus in january and i cant be there so im not sure how many photos ill get access to of the event so i have covered most of the segments.( will do the back when i get more lush paper - oh darn there goes the stash diet)

thank you for this idea Maryanne its a lovely book. oh and i supersized mine, used a dinnerplate rather than 8" circle. mines 10.5" across, this folds down into a 5.5" square book, ideal for a 6x6 box.

I've made the base of the book OK, but saw MA's suggestion about using the segments as templates in Photoshop, thought I could do it in PSE, but so far I've failed miserable! I cannot get the layers to group! Grrrrh! I really need to do some sort of course on PSE, I think!

    That does look lush TJ

I decided to 'go large' too I've used 3 x 12" Bazill scolloped circles. Thought I'd decorate it in my niece's wedding colours so that I can house a few more of the photos.

    Happy inking Eileen

That's lovely TJ, great colours, looks so yummy and lush! Now... I am liking the sound of dinner plate size... but its bedtime here so I think this will have to be a morning task!

I'm going to have a go at this too - I like the idea of making it bigger....don't have to cut photos quite so small then! Watch this space!!! (not too closely though - not sure when I'll get to it!)

Loving the look of this book too, the colours you've chosen are lush. MY 11yr old DD wants to have a go and put her photo's in from her school residential week away so hopefully we'll have a play soon
