    Question What goes with Gold?

    Bit stuck here!

I have to make a summery Golden Wedding Anniversary table setting and cards. Only have gold embossing powder and gold brads. Can't buy anything else in gold.

What colour cardstocks would you mix with Gold? Other than black and white. It's a summer party, so don't want to go down the "Christmas" route of burgandies and pine either.

    Any suggestions?

i'd agree too, although I must admit i'd probably go for a more ivory than cream. it does depend a little on the exact shade of gold as to which looks better.

What kind of gold is it specifically?
    Matt , shiny,textured.

A 'normal' pure gold, a brassy gold , a rose gold or a coppery gold?

I too would go with cream but purple could look good if you get the right shade

Another vote for cream or ivory card, with brown text and maybe buttercup yellow accents.

Hi, If it's not too late - you can get a pearlised ivory card that just has a hint of gold running through it that might be suitable. Gwen xxx
