    shadowboxcard

The used stamp in this card is from RubberStampAvenue stamps and the messurements of this card (the oval window) is based on the messurements of the used stamp 1260 L.
The schadow of this box is 2cm so this card can stand by itself if put together correctly.
See the link on the template.

    £££ Winter Box Card £££

    Another
Why on such a sunny day yesterday I spent it cutting Winter Cards I just don't know....... Anyway this one is lovely has 3 layer's for you to cut the scalloped front the tree's and reindeers and then the house. Cut from various card, embossed at the back with d'vine swirls embossing folder and flowersoft to the tree branches. Oh yes and red liquid pearls to the front of the birds to make them look like robins. You could also make this a summer card By changing the colours and adding some flowers.

You can find it here And as always Thank You for looking

    Give us a tweak

I am really pleased with this but it does need a tweak. Its an open box type frame. If you push in the scallop edges it will fold flat for postage. To make up cut one with out the aperture and one with. Fold on dashed lines. Decorate the inside or add a decoupage. Glue back scallops to front scallops Add the frame over the front if you wish. Please could someone have a fiddle with it. I also thought maybe the apperture and frame could be made into different shapes such as an oval. Thanks for reading this long winded post.

    Oval box card

Dont forget to cut one without an apperture for the back of card. On the other hand it maybe nice to cut two fronts and put acetate in the ovals and something dangly inside. I might try that myself!

    Shadow box card

I can never remember which is valley and which is mountain fold so I've added a screenshot of the top/side view as well. I hope you can see which way to fold the sides. Flower's are included.

    Fancy edged shadow box card

I'm just re-posting this because the original has disappeared (one of the casualties of the corrupted database mentioned in Lucille's post). I can't remember what I said in my original post, but I think I mentioned that this card could be easily adapted for any age or it could have an oval apperture and you could just put your own decoupage or whatever in the box.

Created in DM2 and converted to GSD via the PDF method.

    Tunnel Card

Here is a tunnel card that I have designed, they are a simple design and can be dressed up or down to suit. This card was originally for a 5 year old girl so a pretty pink fairy card was perfect.

Fold the card on the perforated lines and attach the outer edges together to form a tunnel - see attached pictures for a guide.

scroll edged tunnel card with apperture

Designed in DM and converted to studio. I have cut this in DM but did not take a photo so a screenshot will have to suffice. The red lines are fold lines so need to be perforated. There is a nice big apperture for your decoupage, or a photo.

£££ Shop Window Diorama Card £££

I've got quite hooked on this type of card and this one features a shop window so is definitely a girly one. If you'd like to take a look you can find it here. The file includes assembly instructions and is available in studio, gsd and svg formats. Striped paper is included too.

    Steampunk Box Aperture Card

Didn't know what to call this, but settled for a steampunk/clockwork box aperture card. Hope perhaps it might be useful for those awkward male birthdays.

GSD, Studio and SVG files in the zipped folder along with assembly .pdf file.

Recessed Window Cards (with Square, Hexagonal and Octagonal openings)

I tried my hand at some quilling the other day and needed a card to mount the result on, so made one with a recessed window as I hoped it would add some depth and interest to the card front and give the quilling a little protection.

I thought I'd share the template that I made, along with a few others with different shaped openings in case anyone else might find them useful.

GSD, Studio, and SVG files are in the zipped folder along with an assembly pdf file.
