    Hi Peter
As you can see from the forum, you're never quite alone with a Robo. Reminds me of an old fag advert we used to see. That dates me a bit, eh!
From one Pete to another, keep checking the forum, and you will find answers to all of your (Robo) problems.
    Great to meet you

Blimey Pete - that's going back a bit!! "You're never alone with a Strand" wasn't it? Some of the cigarette ads were absolutely outrageous by today's standards weren't they?

By the way Man Alone aka Peter - welcome to the forum - you'll always find some help here!

HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP Brian where are you I emailed Graphtec but have not received any reply.... I'm looking for the driver update and although a kind Robo member has given me a link It's in Franch and I can't follow it at all I don't know which button to push to download the update to 5.1 as I can't download some of the templates in this site.

And Pete thanks for your post. I only go back to 'as cool as a mountain stream' mind you I used to smoke Dunhill International, Passing Clouds, Camel, and The International size Menthol who's name I have forgotten can still see the pack though gold and mint green... Well gave up many years ago so don't even know what a packet costs these days ... LOL..

But I have my trusty Robo just wish I could use it to it's full extent..

Peter, I'm sure you only need to download the software, not the controller or the driver as you already have those.

Scoll down the page till you come to pictures of 3 Robo machines, above that are 3 underlined titles, click on the first one which says

    Teletargementde
    ROBO MASTER V5.10

That is the Robo master updated software, click on that then follow Brians hints and tips to install.

    Hope that helps a litttle.

    Many thanks

Duh I'm an idiot.. When I think of all the things I can do on my PC I don't know why I have so much trouble with this... I have been crafting using my PC for about 10 years now but this really gets to me as I don't like to be defeated.. .. I used to do such a lot of desktop publishing using programmes far more complex than this but for some reason I just have a mental block with this machine... Grrrrr I won't give up .. I won't give up....I won't give up ....... Peter XX

If you're really stuck French wise, you can also get the v5.1 upgrade from the UK Crafty Club site, but it's on CD and they do make a charge to cover costs. It's in the store rather than with the download stuff.
