    rolling #*#*#*March Newbie Software Challenge#*#*#*

This months tutorial is "Foolproof PopUP Inserts" if you have been following the newbie challenge threads you should now have a good grasp of the basic software commands and be able to do this one.

If this is your first challenge there is a list of previous tutorials covered in the tutorial section, please join us at your own level and share your screen shot and files.

Don't ignore a tutorial because it isn't something you don't want to make, the tutorials are to help you learn the software, the end product is only to give you something to work towards.

The challenge is... after working through the tutorial to learn how it is done and then to make one using your own dingbat, image, font or combination of these.

Please post a picture or screen shot of the design in this thread and share your cutting file with us in the template section. If you can't access the template section yet you can upload here (yes we have a tutorial for that as well here and I will move it over for you to keep it safe.

    Top tips
If it goes wrong start again
Don't struggle alone post for help in this thread or PM the writer of the tutorial or me.
and remember there is no such thing as a stupid question

I had great fun doing this challange, thanks Lucille.

Card not decorated as yet, nothing springing to mind, I really need to do a shop for more embellishments

    Font used is Bellbottom.Laser

    march newbie challenge

I found the tutorial for the pop-ups the easiest to do yet, wonder if I will find it as easy when I try to use my own words/dingbat, I'm off to try.
Thanks for setting this challenge, and making me try it, I can see how easy it would be to get hooked on pop-ups.
