    sad Brass Stencils

I have been looking eveywhere to understand where to post my question, but I still don't know. I will post here, apologies if it is the wrong place.

I need some help with Brass stencils :

How do you emboss a brass stencil with a big shot ?

How do you emboss a brass stencil just with an embossing tool? It will make you think I am thick, but I tried to put a piece of paper on a mat, and go through the holes of the brass stencil with my embossing tool, but nothing happened.

Anybody to get me out of my misery?

Not sure of the sandwich for the bigshot but to emboss with a tool you place the stencil on a light box (glass chopping board over lap with table lamp on floor or against the window on a daytime will do) right side down. Then the paper, then you trace around the edges of the holes, no need to "colour in" unless the hole is smaller then the tool then you'd just rub the tool over the top.

Is Fiffas sandwich list for the bigshot, should have the recipe for brass stencils.

To use brass stencils with the big shot you need...

a multipurpose board, a rubber mat and a texturz plate. A little pricey to get all the bits, but definately worth it.
