Many thanks to Doreen who made me a template, but I have spent all morning drawing this one and whilst it isnt perfect (the middle arch is slightly bent) I thought I would upload it anyway!!! xx
I've just finished this card for one of my granddaughters who becomes a teenager this month. I had to keep re-jigging both the dress and the base card until I got it something like I wanted - I feel as though I've been doing it for weeks so I'm really glad it's finished! The borders down the edge are cuttlebugged and chalked, then dabbed with a spot of stickles glue to give a bit of sparkle. The base card is cut in 3 parts. The dress has ribbon slots along the top edge.
The GRA file cuts well, but I haven't tried cutting the GSD file - I suspect it will take a long time to cut.
NB the purple line on the base card GRA file is pounced.
Its so nice to be able to give you all something back, Hope you can use it. I saw a design like this on the tv, so i gave it a go.
The borders i used were from silene, who is aware that i have used them to make this card, and the Happy Birthday design on the insert was from Emerald, Thank you both so much.
Here is a very simple panel or matting, inspired by a chinese screen I saw.
There is a single panel, and a trifold set. There are a couple of score marks in the trifold, but they can be removed if you prefer not to fold.
These look good with some butterflies or flowers attached to them, or tissue paper can be glued to the back to make a nice little screen. Ink them with some brown distress inks and cover with "Glossy accents" or something, to make it look like teak!
Well I was without My mojo for some weeks and it's now returned with a vengeance... I have now started the Animal Collection of door cards. And this is the very first one, The Lion door..
Designed by me, all from different shapes and cut and assembled By Nicola.
She has made it all so real looking I think
I have been busy with so many other things during the last months and I have not had time or inspiration to make any new designs lately. But now I have three new gate fold cards to share. Hope you like them.
