Thumbs up ~ August Card Challenge!! ~

    This month's challenge is to...

Make a card that keeps it simple...

We're in the middle of summer, the weather is amazing for some of us, so who wants to be cooped up too long inside slaving away over their desk?? Well with this month's challenge we've taken the stress out and you can keep your card as clean and simple as you want. A detail and a greeting is as fussy as it gets!

Just post your cards to this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a goodie of a prize through the post courtesy of Leo (CraftyPrincess).

Remember, to enter the prize aspect of this challenge, you need to make a new card in response to the challenge.

This is just my sort of challenge! I do like "minimalist" cards.

So here is my first attempt. May be a little bit too fussy. I've got the bug now, so will have another go.

Well I did say I would have another go. Here are a couple more. Can't get much simpler than this.

    Sorry - pics not great

    I agree, fabulous card, Nat.

When I saw this challenge I decided to take part, but generally all my cards are quite simple, so I thought I'd try for "even more simple" in the spirit of the challenge. Here's what I came up with.

lets hope i linked ok, otherwise i'll be back to edit it.

eta: ok, so I couldn't work out how to make it appear in the thingy... off to find the help section... I thought you just had to click the image button.... *sigh*

eta2: hooray! i worked it out. gotta love the FAQ

the love tag one was a sketch - possibly off 365cards, but I can't remember: i was blog hopping that day. the tag itself was part of a chipboard tags set that I got in a scrapbooking class kit and never used...

for reference, the house was from one of dan99's free templates, and the birthday panel was from craftowrks cards.

Love your card Nat, especially the greeting, where is it from? Azi, I like the new home, really clean and simple!
