    rectangle aperature cards 1 & 2

Thanks to Joyce's (2 Magpies) new tutorial in Design Master - I've
    mastered the aperature card!

Since square cards cost a small fortune to send in the U.S., I've done
    them all in rectangle form.

Since my wonderful UK friends keep getting me hooked on all this nifty crafting stuff - I've decorated my cards with peel off borders and those
wonderful metallic pens (which I have gotten totally addicted to).

Hope these cards are useful to others.

    Princess Carriage Card

Now this will need sometime to cut the robo rests for quite a while before continuing to cut and may make the supervisor come up so you have been warned, But for those of you that don't know please don't remove designs from machine or turn off the machine will restart when ready.

I also recommend you layer the wheels to make them sturdy as the main body is quite heavy once cut and assembled then you will decorate so more weight added.

I have cut from conqueror concept 250 gsm on thickness 30 and speed 10
Anyway enough from me Hope you like it

    Personal use only please

    search words - princess, carriage

    Lacy apperture with ribbon slots

Just finished this card for my sister's birthday on Mon. I was inspired by Linda's (ltgrandma) lovely appertures for this one - so grateful thanks Linda!

Decorated with ribbon and beads and to make it special for my sis I've added a photo of our late mother (taken in the 1930's when she was a young mother) in the apperture.

The GRA file cuts well, but I haven't cut the GSD (which I imagine will take a long time to cut)

    scroll appertures

I do love these apperture cards. Here is one I've done for my middle sister's birthday - another vintagey one! Again I've put in a scanned photo of our lovely mum when she was aged 21 and I know my sister is going to love it.

The original photo was taken about 77 years ago and is as fresh and sharp as if it was taken yesterday - they must have known a thing or two about photography in those days!

Care is needed when lifting from the carrier sheet as the scrolls are quite delicate, but it cut well from the GRA file. I used gold edged ribbon and beads and cut the lining in concept golden haze 160 gsm to tone in with the sepia photo. I have to say I was pleased with the end result!

    Square apperture with butterfly stencil

I wanted a "flat" card for posting for a friend's birthday next month and came up with this design to try and show off Grace's lovely foil which she was kind enough to send to me. Thank you so much Grace, I really love the effect you can get with this with a gentle burnishing on the reverse. The photo is not a good one - the borders look a bit crooked because of the angle - I wish it showed the foil up a bit better, but I've done my best. Thanks again Grace

    Cloned Heart Topper & Card

Thank you Doreen for setting such a great challenge this month, especially at such short notice.

The files added so far are wonderful, so thank you ladies for sharing them.

I drew an open ended heart shape to clone, and thought the resulting topper might make a nice card aperture too, so have included both in the template, which I hope will be useful.
