    3D Car Card

Can anyone help me with making the above.

Its my Husbands Birthday in April and he loves his cars, being disabled they are his legs so to speak.

He is taking receipt of a new one, just before his birthday this year so I can call that his Birthday Present Phew!!

But as he bought me the Robo last year for mine, I wondered if I could make him a 3d Model Car, and then cover it with a bubble front.

I don't have a printer attached to my system so cannot do a print and cut unfortunately. But I don't mind cutting it by hand if necessary.

I have done quite a few different searches, but I am not coming up with anything that I can make.

I have looked in the templates section but could not see anything in there.

    Any help would be welcome.

I have managed to find a few, I did not realise that the technical term for what I am looking for is " Papercraft" I was searching for 3d models in card etc.

If anyone should find some too, I would be pleased ever so muchly

There's been a thread in the last few days about paper people, there are some links in that to some 3D paper model sites, I think including Graphtec's own which is a great resource, and has a whole selection of all sorts transport models. (I'm not sure if Graphtec UK still have their link to these, but the US Graphtec Corp site certainly does.) The Graphtec templates are print and cut but you can just cut them (remember to de-select the registration marks!) and possibly colour them yourself.

I think Tina and Chrissie may have also done car templates, and I believe Erika has a car pop up card.
Aso have a look right at the top of our templates section, there's a thread with useful links there too.

(And the Arty Farty lady sells a Colin Car which is a standard hand cutting printed template. But just pretend that I really didn't mention this one at all)

    Rosemary,

I found the Graphtec Corp site ok, and registered with my Craft Robo serial number. It gave me a user ID and Pwd, but no luck getting access.

I couldn't see a contact us button, so I am a bit stuck there.

    Will try again later.

I skye, if you go to www.crafty-club.co.uk click on templates to the right of the page, then scroll down and click on Graphtec Designs, there's a button there that says Vehicles. HTH.

Anne, that will be a link to the ones on their main site then! So Skye, you can get at them that way instead...

Well Ideally a Vauxhall Vectra SRI 2009

But I don't expect to be able to do that, although if I could that would be the icing on the cake and his.

    Thanks

I have been slowly making the Alpha Romeo from the Canon Creative Park website. I downloaded the PDF and traced all the cut and foldlines manually rather than using the autotrace function. As was said earlier I did away with the Registration marks and didn't print it, so I could cut the parts any colour I wanted.
Good Luck if you need any help just shout.
