Anyone got any top tips to get my Quickie Glue pen working ??
Have tried whizzing it around on paper and wetting the tip a bit.

Mine won't work either - but its the opposite to yours - I can't stop the glue flowing once I remove the cap!

Hope you find an answer and that maybe I do too?

The trick with all the Sakura pens is to hold the pen in one spot and put gentle pressure on the tip to get the glue to flow. Once it starts it generally keeps going.

I've never had the experience of glue not stopping! But one demonstrator told me that these pens don't like being tapped or pounced on a hard surface because it can push the ball tip back into the pen and then it just stops working altogether.

    Hope this helps.

Ive not been very happy with quickie glue pens the last couple I've had - even gently pressing on the nip (ball bearing) doesn't get them to flow as they should - equally the sakura pens - I'm not overly impressed recently - they dry up and then yuou can't get them to flow again - I have tried everything.

I bought a another glue pen from a well known stationers and that stopped working half way down too

I am now the proud owner of a Zig glue pen - lets see how that one does -have heard good things about them thol.

Oh no this is bad news as I was planning to go out to buy a quickie glue pen tomorrow to replace a glue pen I loved from a well known kitchen shop. It has just run out and I never had a problem with it.
I was told the quickie ones where good now I am worried.

I loved my TomBow glue pen and had no problems with it. Fingers crossed my quickie one keeps working. Got it as I was at a different shop and it was what they had.

Don't have a problem with the glue coming from mine - it just doesn't stick anything! Oh for a glue pen that actually works.

Wow, can't believe I found this thread on line today. I have two Quickie glue pens and the older but quite full one just stopped working. I always store them point down and not near any heat. One hasn't worked at all for a while but couldn't bring myself to throw it out. Anyway, don't ask me why but I just started tapping the new pen against the old pen and now the old pen is working again.
