cut line problems

Hi newbie with a problem have been playing with cr tonight and have had a problem with cut lines it kept cutting a dashed line even when I double checked that the line settings were solid line. Tried in both red and black colour but it kept cutting a dashed line, it must be something in the settings that I havent got right but I can't see what.
Any ideas on what is going wrong
