Hm, not sure I've seen proper patterned cardstock in A4... do you mean smooth cardstock with some pattern detail on it? I know Bazzill had some patterned stuff like polka dots, stripes, and doodlebug had something cardstock-like but it was flocked - none of it is that cost-effective...

For A4 cardstock I have bought a few variety packs of American Crafts cardstock to make my card blanks - they are rather nice (lovely colours) and textured, but I'd prefer smooth ideally... Can't have everything eh?

    Hi! Ali,

one of our sponsors, Pink Petticoat, has downloadable files that you can buy from their site. Liz has a freebie file that you could try out to see if you like her style and colour combo's.

I print a lot of my own. If you look around on the net there are a lot of free digi scrapping files available. I download them and save them to my external hard drive so they don't clog my computer. A big advantage to some of the free kits, is that the papers co-ordinate. If you only print what you need, it doesn't work out any more expensive than buying ready printed. Quite often I drop the JPEGs into a word document and print half a page of 2 co-ordinating papers.

    Try here http://digifree.blogspot.com/

they have daily uploads of new kits for free.
