    Thanks (again)...

OH has just bottled a batch of 'home brew' and asked me to make some labels, so I thought I'd try print and cut for the first time. I used DM and after only some minor swearing and hair pulling I managed it, but only because I learned so much from all the helpful folks on here. So thankyou very much to you lovely people.

P.S. the best tip was go over the registration marks with a black pen.

    Home Brew

A long time ago my mother-in-law made home brewed beer. She could never just leave a recipe alone and put extra yeast in it. We always visited on a Friday evening with the boys and she handed a bottle to my OH to open the bottle as she couldn't undo it. The top took off and the beer sprayed all the walls and ceiling in the kitchen. When we looked at my son, who was sitting in the doorway in his pushchair, he was licking the trickles that had run down his face, lol. Needless to say we didn't try it ourselves and it didn't seem to do John any harm.

    rolling

When I lived at home I brewed some Sarsaparilla and stored under mum's kitchen sink. One of them blew taking the other 11 with it! What a noise. It sounded like a bomb going off. We ran into the kitchen and couldn't see anything at first. Then we saw the brown liquid running out of the cupboard. What a mess, shattered glass all over the cupboard. Needless to say I have never brewed any since
God must love stupid people-He made so many of them
