Just to let you know
Before I had the chance to buy any pencils and sansador I wanted to have a go at the colouring technique, I got my water colours and some ordinary cheap white spirit, that was in the garage and some cotton buds and gave that a try and although the white spirit stank the effect was really good.
I've bought some cheap oil pastels (just in sticks) and some sansador and given it a try. The only problem is that I need to find a way to put a point of the pastel because it is rather difficult to use in tiny spaces. The colours are bright and they aren't too difficult to blend and the effect was quite good. I'll use them to practice with till I can get a better set of pencils.
I also bought some cheap pencil crayons - didn't work at all with them. Will have to save my pennies to buy a really good set.

did you buy any paper stumps? if so you can take the colour off the pastel stick and get into the tight spaces.

Hi Peechy
I did buy paper stumps, but I'm find them really hard to use, they seem really scratchy. I will try putting the oil pastel on the thin paper stump and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks
