Sorry to butt in here - and even more sorry to sound so dense! - how do you actually use these pencils? What do you do with the paper stumps and sansador? I know you said you blend them, Gadget Monkey, but is the blending actually done on the image you want colouring or do you blend them elsewhere and then transfer the colour across?

you can get sansdor from any art shop. i think whsmith might have it... i got my stumps from London while on a weekend break.. they were the same make as the cheap waterbrushes that come in a pack of 3.. sorry for being vague

You colour around the edges of the piece you want to colour, then dip the paper stump in the sansador and drag the colour into the area you want coloured, so it is all done on the image you are colouring. Here is an example of a finished one...
