Hi Jane, thank you I stamped pieces of grass with the studio G stamp. I used a green primas pencil and coloured lightly across the whole grass area. I used the sansador and stumps to blend sweeping it across in circular movements. I stuck down my stamped images then went over the areas with the same colour where there would be shading just to give a slightly deeper colour - under the tree and chair. Again blended as much as possible with the sansador. The sky was coloured in a pale sky blue prisma and again coloured lightly then blended. Hope this helps and thanks for your wonderful comments. Nikki x

I made these little colouring/drawing books with my BIA and some Magnolias. That's the Tildas pet horse one on the front and then there are more inside to colour in. They're for two horsey mad little girlies, the bits on the fronts do have their names on in real life if you're thinking why does it look weird

Lovely cards everyone love the drawing books CraftyPrincess! One thing I want to ask, how do you all get the cheeks so rosey. I use watercolour pencils and when I try is either just washes away or the colour just clumps together and really spoils them.

Here's my latest cards, both for girls at work who are having birthdays next month:

For mine, I always use a colour one or two shades darker and blend.

    Well,I succumbed...

    My Tilda's arrived this morning

Mermaid, Tilda and Baby, Tilda in Wellies and Tilda with Star.... have even had a play (Shhhhhh dont tell )...

Did have a little trouble getting them to stamp tho without smudges

I used to make cards years ago - hence the name - am just getting back into it again... never used to stamp tho so its all new to me..... MIL gave me some watercolour pencils... which are fab... and I have some stickles so got enough to play with at the mo...so HOPEFULLY will be back on soon with a card to show you... (if its up to scratch and if I dare )
