A new idea for carrier sheets

Well it was for me anyway.

I have been told about using quilters mats and either running them through the xyron or spraying them as with the laminated one.
They appealed to me because it was suggested that I would be able to cut much thicker card with them.
I have just taken delivery of 10, don't laugh, some are for friends as well. However, each one of these 10 mats will make 2 carrier sheets, so I actually have 20 - lol!

I ordered them from the USA, but have found somewhere in the UK that sells them too. Well, they arrived today and I couldn't wait to get hold of them and test them out.
They are fantastic! Because they are so much thinner, the blade comes down lower - I think that is correct - and I am now cutting linen card with only one cut and at a lower setting.

I am one happy lady today!

Sounds like a great idea. Can you tell me exactly what to look for please? I have searched for quilters mats and all I have come up with is like the cutting mats we use for cardmaking, and I would imagine that they would be too thick.
