There's a few of us from Elgin. I'm in Lhanbryde which is 4 miles away
There's a brilliant papercraft shop just behind Brewers Fayre and McDonalds too so you'll never go short on stash

There are quite a few of us on UKS - and did you know Elgin was the warmest place in the UK - but probably cooler than Gib!!
There is a Scottish thread and a lot of the Elgin girls chat on there.

Hi Becca,
thanks for replying so quickly!!!
I've been running my own craft club for the past year and was really worried that no one would be around to craft with!!
I've heard that there are crops and classes in Elgin...have you been to any of them?

I may have already purchased one or two Nellies....ok...ok...most of them!!! Will go and have a look for the scottish lot!

No crops are running at papercrafts at the moment - not sure if there are any planned. Think Karen has been so busy with all the new stamps there has been no time for classes. There is an Aberdeen crop usually once a month and there are crops at Banff.

I haven't been to any classes due to being a single parent to 2 young children and no childcare but there's a group at my village hall on tuesday mornings called "Try it Now" which has provided a creche and we have so far tried feltmaking, jewellery making, ceramic painting, which is great fun and tomorrow we are making memory books

Elgin is a hot bed of talent, who would believe that way up past the hills is a little place where magic happens......Ok I am in the middle of booking my summer holiday and have been reading too many disney world adverts
We dont have crops ATM but lots of classes and demos, some of the girls travel to Aberdeen to the monthly crop there.
We have a small group of very talented crafters and I am sure if you go to the Scottish chat thread you will find most of them as they are also very good at blethering
