Just a quick response to Craftmother - it all depends on what you want to do. With robo, you are free to draw and design whatever you want for robo to cut, but don't expect it to cut thick card. To me the cricut cartridges seem v expensive and extremely limited. In fact I don't think I wd ever use any of those images! Just not my style.

If you want to develop yr own designs or just pick up on the templates posted here for free, go for a robo.

With best wishes, whatever you choose.

Whey hey! I actually made something at last.

    http://www.freewebs.com/bean-sidhe/blog.htm

My machine keeps stopping to 'think' and then carries on and I KNOW I read about some setting somewhere that helps reduce this but for the moment I can't find it.

I am also having trouble getting it to read the registration marks, having to load and re-load several times - not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Tried in very bright light, normal light and with the light off - so not sure. Also tried on two different colour papers but same problem - I'm sure I'll work it out - eventually.
