I am making my first scrapbook of my 4 week old son and have a question which probably sounds stupid. Do you have to use card for the pages or can you make a page with paper? I have bought lots of stuff but there doesn't seem to be much card in any of the packs just papers, tags and stickers.

    Thanks
    Melanie

    Hi Melanie
You certainly can use just paper but card for the base makes it much sturdier

I generally use paper because there's a greater choice of design, colour etc.

Thank you don't have to worry about not having enough card now.

You can use a mixture of both. The heavier weight papers are sometimes easier to use and are often double sided so you get more choice of colour and design. Enjoy your scrapping !

If you use paper then the LO may be a bit flimsy. It won't be a problem as it won't be handled once it is in the album, but it may be a good idea to leave the blank insert in the sleeve (if it came with one) or add another sheet of paper if needed.
