    I use the very thin DST on the paper where I want the ribbon to go and then lay the ribbon onto it - it is much easier to control. Staples on the end look lovely if you take a single one off and thread 3 wee beads onto the staple and then using your pokey tool make two little holes and push through with your fingers and fold the 'legs' by finger like a brad.

    I tend to use double sided sticky tape if its not too narrow or staples, I always find glue shows through no matter how hard I try!
