Ideas for 40th Party Invites Please?????

HELP!!!!!
My sister has just asked me to makes her invites for her 40th birthday party. I`ve never made any before. So do any of you lovely kind people have any ideas or made any previously that I can get some ideas from please???
I`m just sitting here with a blank mind at the moment!

My 40th was 2 weeks ago. For a scrapper/cardmaker I really cheated!! Everyone was impressed though. I used a baby photo of myself and wrote 1968 on the front in some "photo" programme. I then made the cards on www. photobox.co.uk. I think I wrote something along the lines of the following inside. (a6 sized greetings cards)

40 years on!!
Please come and help me celebrate
date:
time:
place:
etc etc

You could easily do something similar by just printing the photos and layering them and printing the inserts yourself. i just didnt have the time!!
