    I seem to remember reading somewhere that putting punches that were sticking in the freezer helped them work better

    Try it with another one just in case it goes wrong - I may have dreamt that one

    This thread amused me, partly becauseI can relate. Secondly, who first comes up with these things. Who thought of putting it in the freezer!

    I have just finished making my daughters wedding invites and punched the corners of the inserts, I used an X-cut punch and for once it actually cut okay, might have only ruined one and that was my fault!!

    certainly not me and I haven't tried it

    I have a feeling I heard DB say it on QVC must have been the only time i didn't whizz through it

    I can sympathise with the wedding invites, I made my own and could have cried with the number of invites that ended up in the bin!!! Good luck!
