Getting Rogue Rub-Ons Off?
Was rubbing-on title letters yesterday and other letters on the sheet "accidentally" transferred too (I lent on the bottom of the page I think). I tried scratching them off and to some extent it worked but I also marked the cardstock and I was mad at myself for doing more damage. I solved the problem by sticking ribbon over the mess and no one will know any better. But for future reference what is the best way to get a rub-on off? What happens if a word gets misspelled or something?
Curious....!

Loving vintage finds!
I use low-tack masking tape which usually works quite well.

Messy is my middle name!
A soft white eraser/rubber works for me most times

Me and my Mutt
another vote for masking tape - it works even on burnished down rub ons!

Magic tape - the white write-on Scotch sellotape stuff (how's that for a muddled description?) usually works for me, used this the other day.

Thank you ladies. Rubbers and tape. Check! Now let's hope there won't be a chance to use my new found wisdom! Ta!
