    Beach Huts

Been playing (inspired by ErikaP - with many thanks) and decided to have a go at pop-ups which are printed first. Of course I have to start with beach huts lol!

This particular card had the message on the front saying 'Hope you have many.....' as separate letters cut out, the font used is Keep on Truckin'

    Cameraman with tripod pop-up

An idea which could be modified for any keen photographer (the person I made this card for liked food and photography.

The clip art food could be changed for any other interest or even a photo!

I have also done a pop-up golfer, but will not post because it infringes a copyright!

    Pop-up insert of golfer

No where near the intricacy of Elida's superb templates, but this might be useful to some one.

Due to the fine 'support' pieces I have not put a dashed line - it is obvious where you need to fold.

    Lattice Cross

    Hi,

Did this last night. Maybebaby asked for a lattice cross for a Christening card. This would also be suitable for confirmation or sympathy.

    Hope you like.

PS I have some new designs on my home gallery.

    Pop-up Congratulations Insert

I cut this from thickish paper or light card. Care is needed to avoid breaking glass when removing from the carrier sheet and when folding. It cut well, but a few of the confetti dots needed a poke to remove them.

I backed the top half of the pop up with rainbow coloured paper, and cut the greeting from the same sheet.

Probably not a good one for a beginner, even though it was designed by one - or perhaps that should be - because it was!

    Hope it’s useful.

ha ha Birthday Pop Up Inserts

    x
I cut this insert from lightweight card and the 'Happy Birthday' topper from patterned paper. It cut well, and was fairly robust, though again, some of the confetti needed an extra poke to remove it.

This fits an A5 card, (for which I have made a template) with slits to take the right hand corners of the insert to allow movement. I attached the left hand corners to the outer card with pritt stick.

I do hope someone will find it useful.
