Dedicated Scrapper
I know it is so hard for the uk scrapbooking shops to make money. At the end of the day most scrapbook manufactures' are in the states, so US scrapbook shops pay less to get the products and then there is the currency conversion and the economy to take into account. At the end of the day most small scrapbook shops (not a chain) are run by people that have a real passion for scrapbooking and they take all of this into account. I would never expect a shop to run at break even or even a loss, but for some shops I think greed factors into it a little aswell. I don't want to swipe at any of our stores because if any of them closed I would be the first to complain but I think there has to be a fair limit to the amount a company can mark up the goods.

I do understand where you are coming from but then again no one is forcing you to shop at the store which has the highest mark up.
Just order from the cheaper one and just be happy that you got it for £6 less.
Of course I love a good bargain as much as everyone and when I find a shop which has in my opinion ridiculously high margin I will definitely NOT shop there and just look around for a better deal
