This is an absolutely wonderful site and the majority of members gems! However there always has to be someone who will spoil it ... for instance by taking someone else's designs and then selling them on a famous auction site! Some person has taken at least 3 of my designs posted in here (and I haven't posted any robo designs in any other website) and sold them in a cd containing numerous other designs. Another member's designs have also been sold.

I have proof and my husband has contacted our solicitor and we are awaiting legal advice.

Thank goodness that UKS has such a wide community and as such their eyes are everywhere!

I just know what solicitors are like, rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of their fees... Could you agree a copyright fee, either outright or as a royalty?

It is part of our household insurance so we don't have to pay and we're covered upto £50,000 per year.

We can't name-and-shame at the moment as we are waiting advice from solitors also ... the name of the seller in famous auction site would probably be different than used in here.

Thats terrible, a psp group I used to belong to had to close for the same reason, someone selling designs, I was upset and angry, some people have to spoil everything for their own gain, it makes me so mad! I am glad you are not letting them get away with it, they deserve to be caught, it also makes people distrusting of everone else on the site which is so sad, let us know how you get on

I have just had a quick look and could only see one person selling CDs with GSD files. They did not show any pictures of the contents. Hope you have informed Ebay. It is a sad fact of life that some people have no scruples. Hope you get a result.

Good for you!! I have bought a couple of cds off that site but can't see any templates on them. Someone always has to spoil it for others, I for one am so grateful to everyone on here for sharing their templates and hope in time i can share mine(when i can figure the thing out of course!!)

hope you get a result, being a seller i wouldn't dream of selling someone elses template, for a star so many uks members search the auction site its bound to be spotted and secondly i wouldn't like someone doing this to me. As i was taught at a young age whats comes round goes round. I find it hard to believe someone could believe that the files wouldn't be spotted especially as although robo is a growing addiction we are still a relatively small community and we are members of the "in" place to be and search lol.
