Hi Everyone,

I know this question has been asked a hundred times, but what does eveyone prefer? - the quilters plastic or making their own?

Also what thickness of quilters plastic do you use?- I believe there are 2 different ones.

I use quilters plastic and its brill. It appears to be about 1ml thick.

i also use quilters plastic it is brill i didn't know there was two thicknesses so the one i bought is just right and must be the thicker one.

Mine's just arrived today from Quilt Direct, as suggested on the forum, it's the extra thick and it certainly looks the business! Speedy service too.

Do you then just put the quilters plastic through the zyron as it is ?

Hy Lynne, I believe you can. I will spray mine with repositional glue.

does anyone know if these will be available at the show this weekend, they sound great and would of course be easier to clean and wash that a normal carrier, and won't leave all the sticky white bits from a normal worn carrier.

Bill, Quilt Direct are not attending this weekend but are in August ... hmmm rather long wait I'm afraid. As to whether or not their products will be on sell ... no idea.
