This one can either be cut straight onto the card to make an appature or I have put the pieces on the side to be cut separate a little more fidley but effective
This little bouquet was devised from the fonts Roses, Roses and More Roses. It took me ages to get it just how I wanted it and I have taken liberties with the fonts, but I was quite pleased with the end result. The base card is white and I have lined it with concept gold haze 170 gsm which gives a nice understated look. Sorry the photo doesn't really do it justice
I decided to use the lacy mat design as a stencil by removing the outer outline, added some ribbon slots and bits and pieces - it makes a 5 inch square card. I've used sheer ribbon and finished it in a bow on the front so that it stays tidy on the back of the design in case I don't line it. I haven't decided how to finish it yet so it is in its raw state at the moment
Ok, Well here is my file again, all sorted out this time with Lucille help. a big big Thank you for all your time used on me Lucille.
what a big mission i have made of this, but very glad you came up with the challenge Doreen, This is what its all about learning new skills and i have certainly done that.
I have to say I am rather pleased with the way this one has turned out, the elements in it are very simple but it has all gone together quite well. Designed as always in DM and converted via the PDF method. The GRA file cuts well, but I haven't cut the GSD file.
The actual frame itself could be resized for scrapbooking if desired.
I've had to put the base file and flowers into a separate file.
Post now edited to add the amended files for the base card - sorry about that - the fold lines were not central - so sorry
Just finished this one for my niece's birthday in November and have personalised it with her name (which I haven't included in the template)
It's a very simple concept but makes quite a nice card. Designed in DM as always and converted via the pdf method
I can't believe the amount of time I've taken to get this just right, but I am quite pleased with it now. Done DM and converted via the PDF method. Unfortunately the GSD file will take a long time to cut, but the GRA file cuts well. The font is Times New Roman and I have made the text into a stencil so that the middles don't drop out of the O's.
Lucille - I have just read the tuts on cutting from inkscape - and actually managed to cut from it - I was well impressed with it so I am adding the svg file as you suggested.
