For the Soton Scrapper I'd also look at Thomsonfly from Bournemouth. Its usually cheaper to fly with them (and also baggage is included, no £4 extra as with flybe), plus parking is £7 a day and you can get 10% off by booking ahead!

As for the Kent query I'd look at Eurostar & Thayls options, I went to Amsterdam on the first time with that. It took about 5 hours, but that total travel time from Ashford and the only limit weightwise is what you can lift onto the train!!! You can book it all from the eurostar website.

...I'm planning to go to the June one (I think along with some of the other at my crop club).
