    Anyone tried Stampbord?

I've been having fun with Stampbord...it's great as a stamping surface and you can even make jewellery with it....here's a couple of cards I made where I painted the Stampbord with acrylic paint, stamped and embossed on top, and then used Stampbord tools to do some shading.

They are lovely Gail - I have some somewhere, but haven't really done much with it.

    Your pieces are lovely.

I love stampbord - it's my favourite surface to stamp onto . When I apply ink it just seems to glow, and I love scraping sections off to create highlights. I've made a few badges with it, also a pendant, and some card embellishments.

i was introduced to it recently and have enjoyed colouring & stamping to make toppers to put on cards. i like it but find it quite expensive, i think you ought to be able to buy mixed bags of ovals, circles, rectangles and squares rather than circular/ovals or rectangles/square packs.

    They're lovely Gail.

I have some stampbord but barely used it. I must try it again.

Hiya, I just love stamp board-but agree it is dear! I use it to make pendants- it's great for sing aalcohol inks on, stamping and etching and triple embossing.
Also great for using in altereing. I do use it on cards-but only really special occasion ones such as the focus on a bookatrix for a wedding etc. It's too expensive for everyday cards I think.
