Help! Camera battery stuck!

Argh! I've gone and put my camera battery in the wrong way around and it's stuck Is there any way I can get it out? It's stuck fast, I've tried pulling it out, I don't want to damage the camera, if I can't get it out I can't afford a new camera
I am so cross with myself!!!!!!!!
Any help appreciated.

Don't risk it! Take it to your local camera shop and flutter your eyelashes!!

no chance of sliding thin ribbon along / around to pull out?

I would def take it to the shop...if it can't be fixed are you covered for accidental stuff on your home insurance? Not sure if it would qualify or not. Sorry can't be more help

Thanks peeps, I was going to take it to the camera shop but OH managed to get it out (gently!)with a penknife, eek! Just need to see if the camera still works now!
