    1st birthday invitations?

    Hi all,
my lufferly girl Emma will be 1 in August and I struggling to find inspiration for the invites. Although all the attendees will be adults, I'd really like something that still looked baby-ish IYKWIM?

I've got some Winnie the Poo papers and stamps....I know this should be a piece of cake, help please!

When i made invites for my dd's 1st birthday, i used her handprint for it and the wrote the invite on the other side, and for my other dd i took a photo of her and mounted it on a card.

I've used printed versions of my dd feet for invites. (Shrunk to about 1" sq).

Thanks guys, I'm liking the hand/foot print ideas....what could I use to print onto vellum that won't utterly stain the baby! Or am I asking the impossible?

you could use an embossing pad or versamark pad and emboss image or use chalks, pearls, metalic rubons etc.
or use waterbassed ink in light colour?

I've used brilliance ink pads on mine - comes off beautifully with a baby wipe. The only place it might be difficult is around the toe nails. And the definition is fantastic - it picks up all the crease lines on the palm/foot.
