    Whisblade...silhouette..welding 2gether?

I just saw it in QVC....and i started 2 wonder. They sayd that this is the only die cutter which welds words 2gether...and that made me think that is silhouette doing this too or not?...oh and is silhouette compatible with vista?

The Silhouette doesn't it itself, but you can easily weld your letters together in Inkscape and import it quickly and easily into the Silhouette software. It takes no longer
Inkscape is free to download too
No idea about Vista but as it is a brand new machine I would have thought so. I would visit the Quickutz website to be sure

Yes, not a problem at all, the machine and software are identical, apart from one extra button that links you to the QK website to buy and download QK designs

Thanks Natalie, thats good to know as I'm still deciding what to buy, and I know there are some talented peeps on here that create some lovely stuff, I'm not sure I would be able to do too much as I'm not very technical minded, so the links to QK may be useful for me.

    1princess4u - have a look here: http://www.quickutz.com/public/CropR...Silhouette.asp
It answers all your questions and says Vista compatibility is expected by July, so not long to wait

Ahhhh, just the sort of person I was looking for! As you have both a Robo and a Silhouette, which do you prefer!

ETA: ooops, just seen that you've answered this question on another thread!, thank you.

The latest update was handy, ironed out a couple of creases I'd had with the software straight away

It wouldn't let me download from the QK website, it kept asking for my details even though they were there
The software update sorted it out though, thanks to a nice helpful man on email
