Only joined yesterday, and only came in for a look; but noticed that these templates are being shown on a shopping channel at the moment. (9.30pm). Not sure about rules re giving out names, but wanted you to see the demo in case it helped.
Welcome Twinkle. I,m totally addicted to templates! Have you had any experience making them at all? iv'e done quite a few so far. Iv'e bought most of them. It has proved to be expensive, but i don't drink or smoke, so i feel that i,m entitled to them. lol
I bought the Champagne Bottle template at the recent Ally Pally Show, they were sellling like hot-cakes! I find it quite easy to make, the most difficult bit being rolling it evenly without creases, seems to depend on the type of card I use. Knowing what to do with the card it's fixed to is also a challenge as there's not much card visible behind the bottle. I'm not sure if I'd buy any of the other templates (maybe the Martini Glass), I think they're very expensive for what they actually are.
Well ive just made a pink, now i,m half way through a blue cot. Gosh there is a lot to be glued together! I dont think I will be doing them on a regular basis. Thanks for the compliments. I have only been cardmaking for a few months, and i,m learning so much off all you U K Scrappers too!!
well, here is a pink cot and colin the car. The car is not too bad to make. To be honest, the hardest thing to assemble were the mud flaps. They were very fiddly and long. I will post the blue cot as soon as its finished.
the cot and the car look smashing you must have the patience of a saint !
I have got as far as cutting all the bits out for the cot and its sat there for over a week now, dont know when I'll actually get round to putting it all together !!! wont be doing another lol
