You might try the Create & Craft website, they have occasional shows on encaustic art with demos by a man who I think might be one of the experts in this craft. I think he's done books and/or videos too - so have a check! Not my particular interest but he does some pretty impressive stuff.

Try encaustic.com - it's Michael Bossoms own site (who is a very talented man - met him at Stitches!). Don't think there's a video, but he does have step by step photos of what to do in the Techniques section.

CraftyAli - I have a video by Michael Bossom about making cards
with encaustic art. If you PM me your address you are welcome
to borrow it. It's 59 mins long.
I love encaustic art and you can get some amazing effects.

Thanks for all your replies. Steff - I'm scared to borrow the video but I just wondered if anyone had seen the video clip - I know I have but have lost it. Oh well. It's how to hold the iron - is it horizontally or vertically - point up or not?

Please borrow the video. If it goes astray it won't matter that much as I've watched it more than once so please don't let that put you off.

Re the iron - you hold the iron upright to put the wax on and then
lower it as if you are going to iron something. There are many ways
of applying the wax and you will be able to experiment. There is no
right way or wrong way and it's great fun making different effects.

Please let me have your address and I will pop in the post for you.
