how do you organise your paper?

Hi ladies will soon have my very own craft room (very small box room, but still MINE, all MINE mwaaaaaaaaaaaahh), i need ideas on the best ways everyone finds to store their papers, by make, eg basic grey, by colour (if so what do you do with the multicoloured patterened papers, etc.

I have mine in papermania storage cases, that are labeled, brilliant, but i want something more visual, because half the time i have so much paper, that i forget what i have, and never end up using it, any suggestions ladies. Would also love to see any piccies of your craft rooms, and maybe you could point out any features that work particularly well, for other craft items, embellishments, etc.

Thanks again for your time, much appreciated

I store mine in 12 x 12 bags by colour.
I often keep collections together and have them on one shelf of my storage unit for easy reach.

    Hi,
I store all my a4 card and papers in magazine files, these are quite sturdy and as they stand up right you can see everything at a glance.

I bought some clear shelves - the sort you see displaying the paper in shops - and store it by colour. Any random patterned ones have a shelf to themself. I have got a box room as a craft room and would love another set of shelves but I haven't got room!!!

Mine are in cropper hoppers, sorted alphabetically by designer, so American Crafts, Basic Grey, etc.
It was great when I first sorted them like that, I had collections of papers I didn't even realise went together!

Mine aren't sorted at all, that is just another job that is waiting to be done but when I do, I was thinking of doing it by colour and for the pattern paper by most predominate colour, well that is the plan anyway but when it happens is another matter

I have Artbin boxes in a cute storage unit bought from Storage4crafts. I have them sorted mostly into colours, (in 12x12 baggies) then I have a box with basic grey and themes like baby, Christmas etc and finally for my different coloured PP's I have a box labelled spots and dots, stripes and checks and floral the rest are in a misc file!! I have a last box which contains all my scraps! It took some sorting initially (hours!!!) but now I love that it's so organised!

I have an expandable 12x12 file (like a huge accordion file) and I sort paper by colour. If I can't do it up, then I have too much paper!

All pp and cs in there, and then I have a little box for scraps.

Mine are all in bags by manufacturer or they have their own Artbin if I buy lots of the manufacturer (namely BG and 7 Gypsies). I find it easier that way because I know the ranges and can find it easier when I want something

Once you find what way works for you you'll be set. It's just deciding which way will work is the hard part!
