I do not live to scrap, I scrap to live :)
I'm a new member of UKS but I have gone from interested but scared of taking part in a CC to excited and trying to work out how I can get rid of the children for the weekend!

Sky there is usually a class list posted about aweek before hand, so that you can sort out your stash and the clas teacher usually gives a rough idea about the piccy's you will need. What I do is print off all the class info and get the papers togeather and put them in one of those polly bags that stash arrives in. Then if I'm really organised I'l print off the timetable and put a sticker on each bag with day/time/class and any extras needed. and if I'm mega organised I'll put them into time order.
Blimy what a little goodie two shoes I am. Best I go and polish off those bags.

Sky - what I did last time was put together papers that went together and photos embellies with them if the specifically matched the other things. If I liked the look of the class then I used them - you don't have to go out and buy everything unless you want to totally recreate the original and you don't even have to have similar papers.
For example one of the classes in the HPCC was using bold printed flowery paper with large designs on it - I didn't have anything like that but did have a Karen Foster paper with dog biscuits all over it, HERE is the result. Things can easily be adapted to your own stash.

Turned my back for 10 minutes and we're two pages further on!
Sadly (!) it's an indoor event, so weather doesn't play a part! It's a fencing competion, and part of a national league-thingy. Can't fob him off on anyone else, which is a pity - managed that for an Aikido competition this weekend (after I HAD taken him to Durham on Saturday, to be fair) as he's now taken that up too, and I don't know a thing about it. Don't want to discourage him, as he tends to be (i) idle and (ii) rotund to say the least! (Starting to thin out a bit, at last, thank goodness)
So, don't know if I'll be able to do Saturday, but I would be able to do Friday and Sunday, and perhaps 3 days would be too much anyway for a first time (especially as I'm not a 'proper' scrapper)

Almost FP at least my scarpping room is finished.
Eileen it'll be a shame if you miss the CC but your son must come first. And I wish him every luck in his competition.
Heck just remembered Alannah has riding lessons on Saturday morning, may have to work that around the timetable.
By the time I post this we will probably have moved on another couple of pages.
