I'd just got my wireless connection for my laptop for the Harry Potter one. Best thing I ever got. It meant that I didn't have to keep dragging everything downstairs to be near the computer.

We're hardwired with desktop PCs, but I moved mine out of the living room and upstairs into my crafting room -- serves the same purpose

If I can get this room done in time then I'll be in the study/craft room/library/spareroom... with both computer and scrapping desks next to each other, CR all set up ready to go. Last time I had to scrap on the kitchen worksurface and run upstairs to catch up on chat and classes. Also had just got CR and had to use him upstairs too.

hmmmm - laptop - wonder if I could convince DH to buy one before then???

That would save him getting miffed with me when I hog the PC all weekend

Oh fantastic, another CC - that's 4 days after my op! I'll have to be 'resting' and what better way than to put my feet up, scrap to my heart's content and have DH and the kids wait on me. LOL

I have a laptop, but the scanner is hooked up to the desktop, so I have to go downstairs for that, unless I take a piccie with the camera, then I could use the laptop.

I was planning on sending DH out of the way with a laptop

My PC is right next to where I scrap so he will only be in the way

Tell him something........my dh will have to put up woth me in the front room as we will have no kitchen then.....so will be running back and forth more than usual

Moi?

Nah! My DH's been quite happy about past CCs as they mean he's allowed to spend all day down the boozer without any snide comments about him not having stuck to his 'home time' (meaning the meal's ruined)

And as I have a futon in my craft room I don't even have to put up with the after effects of the booze
