    Fibre Cards

Please can someone show me their cards with fibres on them? I have loads of fibres, but no idea what to do with them card wise, so would be grateful for any suggestions! Thanks!

    Hi
I haven't got any pics, but I use fibres on cards a lot, mainly with tags. I put my greeting/design on a tag then thread the fibres through the hole and mount on 3D foam.

    Hope this helps

Here are a couple I have done using fibres.
they are quite a pretty touch to add to the spine of the card, or across the bottom of the front of the card (cut a slit in the fold to pass the fibre through).
BTW.. the first one (with hearts) has hearts on the background card, fibre wrapped around the card, then mounted on to a contrasting paper which is covering the front of the card blank... if that makes sense!

There is a link in the library on 50 ways to use fibres.

You could have a look there for inspiration.

Will try and add link, not good at that !!!

heres one i made using different wools threads and fancy fibres. They were laid onto a piece of fabric and sewn with a sewing machine. http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...92239&cat=4992
I also did one with a double apperture card that I put acetate inside both apertures and secured fibres with doulble sided sticky tape. The result looked good and you could see through the fibres when the card was open.
