    awww @ the breakfast

    yet more lovely cards

this attachment isn't a card, but a pressie

I can't take the credit for the artwork itself, that's a piece from a wonderful artist called Pam Glew from Brighton, I love her stencil/spraypaint art

But I altered a plain beech frame to kind of match/set off the piece - with a short story from an old copy of Jackie magazine, paints, copper leafing, and gloss varnish.

To be handed over at dinner tonight, I hope he likes it, I think he will, he has some nice original pieces of art already at home but nothing upstairs, and he was saying the bedroom walls looked a bit bare, so....

I'm just waiting for the varnish to dry so I can wrap it up, you can't beat faffing about at the last minute

    Glad you like!

I don't post in here often cos when I do make cards it often isn't the traditional topper style ones I make.

Here's my DH's this year - inspired by Lousette Ashton's article in the last edition of Papercraft Essentials mag - I just love brown (kraft) paper!

The letters on the heart spell his name but aren't v clear in the pic! Used a SU set for the paisley stamp and the 'I just love you' at the bottom.
