any paper rolling experts out there?
i am *trying* to make a rolled paper frame for a LO i'm doing. but i can't seem to get the hang of it and only have about a quarter of a sheet of the paper i want to use left.......help!
is there an easy way to do it? I've torn the paper to about the size i want, taking in to account how 'thick' i want the rolls, but when i try to roll it, it just looks messy, or ends up not rolling and rather getting all bunched up and creased.....gggrrrr....
anyone an expert at this and can give me some tips?

I wouldnt call myself an expert, by no means
How I do it is rip the paper in equal intervals all the way round
For curling I use a needle to roll it around the paper it makes a nice
curl.
I will link you to a page I did with paper curling.

As soon as you put it in an album though it gets squashed unless you put it at the front of the album.
Mine looks a bit squashed because I had the page on the go for a year

Dawn,
Thanks! Beautiful LO. I'm going to try your suggestion now, with my paper piercer, which has quite a long needle on the end. I will post my effort if it turns out OK....
Thanks for your help,

Handbag, shoe and choco - holic!
..or a cocktail stick - and dampening the paper helps. I must admit I am usually going for a slightly more 'rustic' look anyway!

Like Julie says, dampen the paper first and then I usually put some of those tiny 3D sticky squares ( cut in half if necessary) underneath the curl every inch or so. Doesn`t flatten so much then.
