it was one of my sil's rules in the spring stash diet... but I think she allowed herself more money...not my brilliant idea I'm afraid!

Have just started one subscription kit, with basic bazzill cardstock plus extras. Continue this as this will give me useful basic stock, not just embellies!

I like the sound of this. Is this an online thing. could you pm me please.

I'm in as well as I'm out of storage space and its starting to cause problems with DH!

    These are my rules

    1. I subscribe to the Little Silver Hat ribbon kit so that is allowed.

    2. I get Scrapbook Inspirations each month so thats allowed

    3. I am off to Florida in March so spending over there is exempt from this diet (after all DH will be with me, so he can hardly moan when we get home!)

    4. Basics such as DS tape and Sticky Dots are allowed

    5. I go to a craft club at least once each month, it costs £5.00 for the day, so I am allowed another £5.00 maximum to spend while there

Hubby has banned all paper from entering the house, I can only replace what I use.

I am a bit of a spendaholic so I am going to need some help!

    I am in too.

I have paid for the Stitch and craft show in Manchester so I will go there with whatever I save between now and then. I am not going to buy anything that is not essential; DS tape etc. until the show. I so have much more than I could ever use. Have to have my magazines usually buy lots but will stick to Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbook inspirations.

It is a great idea so thank her! I realised I didn't add my own new years resolutions here they are:

    1. I've just subscribed to Scrapbook Inspirations so that is allowed.

    2. Consumables are allowed e.g, herma, glue, (might squeeze ink in here too!)

    3. Borrowed idea : For every single page LO I complete £1 will go in a jar towards new stash (so £2 for a dlo).

    4. Am going to begin to subscribe to a bazzill card kit. (To stop buying random bits here and there).

    5. No spending till after birthday.

Ok I spent out last night (before the bells so it doens't count ) and Banana Frog had 25% off stamps - what could I do?

However my spending is getting out of control and my OH is getting mightily p'd off with me sooooooooooo I have to stop such whopping spending.

I get a kit once a month and I can't give that up just yet although I can really cut down on the extras and stop spending the odd £15 here and there which mounts up to hundreds. My OH has kindly informed me that in the short time I have been scrapping I have spent about 2 grand on stash (surely not :0 ) so I am going to have to be really lean.

My rules: only £10 over my kit every second month except my birthday and next Christmas.

    So can I join???

Definetly need adhesive - something which I forgot about! Adhesive is exempt from my no buying rule and not included in my budget as without glue how are any of us going to use up our stash?

Having said that I may go back onto the DS for a few months as I have a huge pile of it before I got converted to Herma. Then I can remove a box from my room!
