Hobbycraft..Copthorne Nr Crawley...

Anyone been? I have tried to get the website up to fnd where it actually is...but no luck...has anyone been and if so is it any good? Going xmas shopping next monday with DH ...he asked if I wanted Brighton or Crawley....heard a new Hobbycraft had opened he!he!he!...haven't told HIM that though ...thoguth we might accidently trundle along that road and find it....be rude not to stop and check it out eh

I went down there on the day it opened, and have to say was very disappointed - it's tiny, and very little scrapping stuff...not even a huge amount for card makers...I'd head to Brighton and have Fish & Chips on the seafront personally!!!

I find hobbycraft good for kids scrapping etc but not that good for older more experienced scrappers..theres never any brand names in and its expensive for cheap makes..

some stuff is good though like candles and crosstitch and magazines i find

Heard it's not very impressive.

You could always try Creative Pastimes at Limpsfield and The Craft Barn at Lingfield.

CP is fab but don't think they open on a Sunday and Monday.

thanks for the info girls ,...we are off to Crawley anyway so I might aswell go and have a little gander...and then on thurs I am meeting up with some lovely pals and we are off to visit Creative Pastimes anyway....I love the craft barn too and visit quite often ....cheers ..xx
