Things worth buying
We've had a thread recently about what not to buy, but what do you own for scrapping which you would wholeheartedly recommend?
I like my daisy punch - I've used it lots of times to make matching flower embellishments for pages. You can get a very different look depending on the paper you choose. Ane it makes a very satisfying clunk!
What do you use all the time?

A really good paper trimmer!
I've bought relatvely cheap ones until recently but since I shelled out over £50 on a Carl rotary I've been delighted - worth every penny!!!!
It cuts straight beautifully - cuts loads of layers with ease and I love having different edges blades - I find fancy edged scissors are useless on card.
Other than that my best piece of kit is my Xyron 150 - I use it all the time for sticking letters and little fiddly bits.

Tunny-Farr, a Maori word for a mythical beastie thing.
I use my poking tool (or pricking tool) all the time. I also love my Making Memories tweezers, they rock! I'm a big fan of the Silent Setter but I have the crop-a-dile on my Xmas list, along with a Craft Robo

Sticky dots, flower embellishments of all kinds, and a good pair of scissors.

Double sided sticky tape is my must have.

Master of cut and paste!
A couple of things come to mind:
- a really GOOD craft knife. I tried about 6 different ones before I found the current one. It's a metal, scalpel-like Swann-Morton and I absolutely LOVE it!
- a good trimmer. I've got Fiskars (2 styles), ProvoCraft (green with pink blades), and the Cutterpede. Sigh... still searching for THE one.
- Glass cutting plate. I didn't believe it until I tried it, but it really DOES make all the difference for hand cutting. Mine is actually a cutting board (about £4 from Argos, with rounded smooth edges and tempered glass), but some scrappers use the glass pane from a picture frame. Just be sure the edges are smooth and won't slice you open.
- a good table. I bought a roll-around desk at HomeBase (£49) that is roughly the size of most cropping tables. It's fab and so handy due to the rollers, yet it's really sturdy. I made holes and scratches in our pine dining table and then tried a cheap metal picnic-type table but it didn't have the support for things like setting eyelets or stamping.
Good question to ask.

What kind of wavy ruler? Is it a ruler to wave about (like a wand) - I have one of those!
